Khameleon was founded in 2020, based on a production company built at Oxford University. Drawing on theatre, music and film, the company develops innovative productions that celebrate the creative power of diverse voices.

Statement 

At Khameleon, we understand that creativity is best when it is diverse. The Arts are about living, about people, and about sharing through creativity. This is our founding principle at Khameleon. Celebrating diverse cultures is at the heart of everything we do. We want to explore new narratives, platform untold stories, and discover fresh outlooks through interdisciplinary forms. 

Our Aims 

1. To use the Arts as an avenue through which to explore our realities and stories in a safe environment

2. To pave the way for systemic change through the artists we hire and represent, the productions we make, the narratives we amplify, and the communities we uplift through our work

3. To take responsibility for using the tools at our disposal to build collaborative and celebratory creative spaces for our histories and cultures

4. To bring people with us on our journey, ensuring that every step we take forward creates spaces and opportunities for other global majority artists

5. To use outreach and education to open up the Arts to all people, focusing on tackling racial, social and gender inequalities that exclude and silence the global majority
