Classics and Outreach

Classics is an old subject, but since its conception it has been the province of those in positions of power and privilege in society. In 2010, a study found that 75% of UK private schools taught classical subjects, compared with just 25% of state schools. In this series, Shivaike Shah talks to former students and academics involved in Classics outreach about what they’re doing to change the narrative around Classics university admissions and study.
